Fantastic climbing today with Andy. We climbed Hidden Chimney Direct then Goat Track Gully. Hidden Chimney was in early season conditions. There is no old snow left, just a covering of fresh.
The forecast was for a very wet day, but it turned out sunny and warm. Today we had a fantastic crag which was perfect for looking at lowering and raising a full rescue load on some very steep ground.
Great day out supporting Scottish MR deliver a rigging course for the Borders teams. We spent the day looking at building anchors, lowering and raising each other down a small crag.
Another wet and windy day in the mountains. Today I was out with Tweed Valley MR. We spent the day looking at snow anchors, and managing a stretcher on steep snow slopes.
Great snow conditions around Griffin forest this afternoon. Loving the new Blizzard skis.
Today we climbed The Message and Hidden Chimney Direct. IV 6 and IV 5. Both routes were in amazing condition with bomber snow and dry rock, some verglass in the main crack on the Message.
Perfect conditions for SJ topping out of Central gully in Sneachda. More days like this please.
Not the sunny day that was forecast but loads of snow to make up for it. Day 2 of a private guiding weekend with 3 mates from Dublin. Today we looked at the skills to allow the guys to climb together as a team of 3.
Looks like this may be the start of winter finally. Great day out with Justin, Owen and Maurice climbing Hidden Chimney.
